From 31 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, Fondazione Garuzzo presents Le Divisament dou Monde: disegni italiani sull’Estremo Oriente, cureted by Angela Tecce, at China Millennium Monument Contemporary Art Museum in Beijing. From Italy to China, just like the voyages that made Marco Polo famous in the 13th century, the exhibition created to mark the seven hundredth anniversary of the death of the great Venetian explorer arrives at the museum. Through a refined selection of works on paper by 44 artists, Le Divisament dou Monde brings together a series of drawings by Italian artists in a journey that investigates the influence of the Far East on contemporary Italian art.

Giacomo Segantin
From 16 to 22 December 2025, Giacomo Segantin presents “INDESIDERATE. Spazi marginali e pratiche di foraggiamento urbano” , a site-specific installation at Cortile Nuovo of Palazzo del Bo in Padova, as part of the Sustainable Art Prize project. The work, born from a practice of urban foraging, transforms the beating heart of the University of Padova through light filters obtained from phytolacca berries, inviting reflection on the identity of places and the ways we inhabit them.

Elena Mazzi
From 22 October to 27 November 2025, Elena Mazzi presents a BIENALSUR exhibition at La Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. The exhibition investigates the possibilities of a “sym-pathetic” encounter between human and animal, using this meeting to question the very essence of what we consider human. Bringing together a selection of artists, the project invites viewers to step away from an anthropocentric perspective and to imagine a process of mutation and hybridization with other animal species.

From 9 to 26 October, Wounded Words Wounding Words unfolds at the Biblioteca Capitolare during ArtVerona. The exhibition reflects on the instant when language takes effect—when words can injure or shield, separate or connect—and proposes critique as a deliberate, radical practice in which every utterance is a chosen act of resistance.

From May 8 to August 24, 2025, the Villa Arson presents Liquid Grounds, an exhibition by Saodat Ismailova and Elena Mazzi. In the square gallery, a dialogue unfolds between the works of the two artists: Saodat Ismailova’s audiovisual installation Stains of Oxus, which explores the relationship between the Amu Darya River and the communities living along its banks, and Elena Mazzi’s works, which stem from the deeply personal experience of an accident and recount the reconnection between the artist’s body and the marine environment.
